United States President Donald Trump along with his lovely family landed India on Monday to strengthen the relationship with the hosts. Trump along with his wife Melania, daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner is on a two-day trip to India. This two-day event is planned in such a way that Day-1 is all about portraying Trump the rich and diverse culture of India and Day-2 is all about talks on signing a defense deal. In his brief visit to India, he aims to reinvigorate ties between two nations. Trump also made some important statements regarding the future of the two nations and their role in eliminating terrorism.
Trump along with his family members and other government officials were taken to view the majestic Taj Mahal in Agra after their visit to Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. Trump was welcomed on a high note with various artists showcasing various arts. He was welcomed by nearly 10 million peoples with at most love and affection for the US President. Trump, before leaving his White House, told reporters that this trip is not long enough yet will be exiting and he is looking forward to it eagerly. He also added that Indian PM Modi is his friend and he is looking forward to getting along with him. By 9 AM PM Modi took it to twitter to welcome Trump as wrote his visit will strengthen the friendship between both nations. On their road trip to Motera, Donald Trump will be showcased by India’s cultural diversity and tradition of Gujarat. The roads were flooded with peoples who welcomed Trump in roars.
In reply to Modi’s post, Trump tweeted in Hindi that he will meet everyone in a few hours. It was 11.45 AM when Trump and First Lady Melania Trump landed on the Indian soil. They were accompanied by their daughter Ivanka, their son-in-law Jared Kushner and other top brass administrators. On the onset of the US president’s arrival to Agra and Ahmedabad, the security was tightened as crowds were piling up the roads and other places of his visit. Post-arrival to Ahmedabad Air circle, PM Modi planned to give Trump a tour of Sabarmati Ashram. They enjoy the place and spin the famous Charkha here. The US President was briefed about Gandhiji and his ideologies. After exploring this traditional Ashram, Trump along with PM Modi was on their way to the Motera Stadium for the ‘Namaste Trump’ event. The atmosphere at Motera stadium was electric as people were eagerly waiting for the arrival of President Trump.
Trump spoke high about PM Modi and praised him for his amazing dedication and respect towards his nation. He also praised Modi as an ‘exception leader’ who works day and night for India. He also said that India has a special place as Americans love India and are loyal to them. He also announced that the US will seal defense deals worth $3 billion on Day-2. Trump also stated that India’s rich and diverse culture and tradition is amazing and mind-blowing. He also spoke about India’s biggest blockbuster movies like ‘Sholay’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenga’.
By 1.24 PM, the US President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrived at the Motera. This initiated the Namaste Trump program. He also spoke high on India’s biggest sporting icons like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. He also stated that this deal will also include missions to eliminate terrorism in the Islamabad and its surrounding region. Both India and the US are in a mission to safeguard their people from radical Islamic terrorism and this deal will seal the base of this mission. He also spoke about the Afghan peace deal which received tremendous support all over the world ensured the same would happen with the Taliban issue.
After the Namaste Trump event in Motera, the couple heads towards Agra to witness the majestic Taj Mahal. However, they are spell bounded by the artists’ performance at the Airport of Agra. Their daughter and son-in-law join them at the airport for the Agra trip. Throughout the road to the Taj Mahal, students and artists lined to welcome Trump. By 5 PM, a pleasant evening made it for Trump and his wife to enjoy the view of the Taj Mahal. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump enjoyed the Monday evening romantically and Trump wrote that Taj Mahal inspires him in the visitor’s book. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner also shared a romantic evening here. However, the new couple attracted most audiences gathered there to welcome Trump. Agra was under the strict control of law and order and battalions of police and army were present to ensure utmost safety and security for the visitors. The couple left for Rajghat after their pleasant time in Agra.
On day two, Trump will be given a ceremonial welcome upon his arrival at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, and he is planned to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. Later, Trump and Modi will indulge in delegation-level talks at the Hyderabad House. It is also noted that Trump along with his family will be staying at ITC Maurya Hotel. In the afternoon, it is believed that Trump will attend meeting at the American Embassy where he is expected to talk with industry representatives. Following is the banquet hosted by Indian President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rastrapathi Bhavan for the US visitors. Trump and his family are expected to depart at 10 pm. However, the riots in Delhi did not affect the visitor’s trip. The city is filled with huge battalions of police and military personals to safeguard the law and order of Delhi.
