The two teams will be made of the southwest team and the northeast team. With the southwest having CSK, MI, SRH, and RCB. The northeast will hold the players from DC, KKR, KXIP, and RR.
For the southwest team, playing XI should probably be:
David Warner, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers, MS Dhoni, Kiran Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Rashid Khan, Deepak Chahar and Jusprit Bumrah.
This will be one team to beat if they were actually an IPL team. Opening the batting will the beast David along with will be the Hitman Rohit Sharma. Once you get past them will be the world number one batsman Virat along with him will be Mr 360 himself. With the great of power-hitting like Kiran Pollard And MS Dhoni as the finishers, the batting line up is still not over. They have some Indians best all-rounders with Hardik and Jadeja to hold the fort if things go south. The tail will hold the 3 specialist bowlers in Chahar, Rashid khan, and Bumrah. With players like Jadeja, Hardik, and Pollard chipping in for the bowling attack, this team will become indestructible under the captaincy of the infamous MS Dhoni.
On the other hand, to defend such a team, the northeast will require a much energetic team, which they might just have.
For the northeast team, playing XI should probably be:
K L Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Steve smith, Shreya Iyer, Ben Stokes, Rishab Pant, Andrew Russell, K Gowtham, Pat Cummins, Shreyas Gopal, and Mohammed Shami.
This is the perfect mixture of experience that meets young and energetic players. The players from this bunch have some of the world-class players that have made a mark on this cricketing world with their performance in international standards. The young players are there because of their contributions and the impact they have had on their teams in the history of IPL and other tournaments. With the southwest having issues with the fitness and form of some players, this young team might just pull off a miracle and win the game.
Whatever be the case, this all-star game is nothing short of the best a fan could want. With players not confirmed for both the teams, the eagerness is even higher. The best part of this game is the fans get to see some of the best of the best in world cricket play for a single team for a really good cause. The game is held for a charity, and all the money raised in this game will be donated to a particular cause to a particular charity organization. The organization and cause are still in discussion. Still, whatever be the case, ultimately, it’s for a good cause that makes everyone happy.
