Game of thrones indeed is a series that one would not forget anytime soon. With the right amount of fantasy, thriller and an emotional roller coaster, the series is a bag of everything. With its final season about to be released in a few days, fans all over are waiting in anticipation with mixed emotions. Here is a rollercoaster ride back to the time when some of the GOT moments gave us goosebumps.
1. The King of North
How can someone forget this iconic moment when Rob stark was proclaimed as the King of North after defeating the Lannister army. What made the scene so special was when the army of soldiers came out of hearing the chants of ‘King in the North’ and looked with an unease.
2. Melisandre Gives Birth
Melisandre is a powerful character in Game of Thrones with magical powers. Some of the moments like the resurrection of Jon snow, her real age and leech curse have made viewers go ecstatic. However, the moment when she gives birth to Shadow assassin which drags itself out and then proceeds to kill Renly was indeed an unforgettable one.
3. Dany becoming the breaker of chains
The moment when Daenerys Targaryen, mother of dragon’s trade one of her priceless beast for their unstoppable unsullied infantry was a signal to torch the enemies. The victory was of the most justified moments of the series. It was a moment where Khaleesi became the breaker of chains and the icon.
4. Tyrion’s trial speech
Tyrion’s trial speech where he outpours his emotions have made us all teary. The speech where he goes to explain the unfair treatment his family members gave him makes us wish justice was served and it was.
5. Walk of shame
Who can forget Cersei’s walk of shame! She was forced to do the long walk of atonement for entering a partial guilty plea. The fate of the queen mother did make us feel empathetic despite the crimes she did.
6. Jon Snow’s resurrection
The scene was one of the biggest cliffhangers, we must say. When his men killed Jon Snow at the end of season 5, it was unbelievable and unacceptable for GOT fans. However, Jon Snow did make a comeback, thanks to the powers of Melisandre. A moment where we wanted to scream, don’t you all agree?
7. Jon snow meets the dragon
This scene hints that it might not just be Dany who is the only rider of dragons in the seven kingdoms. With the dragons showing interest in Jon and allowing him to touch, it shows the magic in his heritage. The silent scene was also a look at the fantastic VFX.
With season 8 as the final of GOT, not just fans but we are also waiting in anticipation to see some more of these iconic moments that can never be erased from memory.
